Folio Fiscal (UUID)
Unique identifier of the Mexican CFDI.
Definition
Also called "folio fiscal", the UUID is generated at certification and stored in the UUID attribute of the Timbre Fiscal Digital. It is the reference for lookup, substitution and cancelación of a CFDI (UUID relacionado attribute) and appears in the QR code of the printed representation.
Origin
Format defined by IETF RFC 4122 (Universally Unique IDentifier). Its use as the fiscal folio is mandated by the SAT in Anexo 20 (the CFDI standard) and the TimbreFiscalDigital schema.
