Mercurius has existed since 2017 for B2G based on UBL 2.1 / PEPPOL BIS 3.0. Hermes B2B mandate voted January 2024 effective 1 January 2026 for all companies. Mandatory format: UBL via PEPPOL Access Point. PEPPOL 5-corner model.

Origin

Belgian law of 6 February 2024 imposing 2026 B2B. Preceded by directive 2014/55/EU for B2G.
