APR
Additional Price Information. The EDIFACT segment that specifies the applicable pricing conditions and terms.
Definition
The APR (Additional Price Information) segment provides extra contextual information about a price: tariff class (UNCL 4043), pricing type (UNCL 5237), calculation multiplier. It complements PRI when the price depends on conditional parameters.
Origin
APR is defined by UN/CEFACT in the UNTDID. It is mainly used in pricing messages (PRICAT, QUOTES) where the price grid depends on discount or tier conditions.
Example in context
APR+WS+0.95:CSD'
Here, WS qualifies the tariff class (Wholesale), 0.95 is an applied multiplier, CSD states its nature (Calculation, simple discount).
