Définition

SBTi target categories : Near-term targets (5-10 years), Long-term targets (towards 2050), Net-Zero targets. Standards specifiques : Corporate Net-Zero Standard (publie 2021), Financial Institutions Net-Zero Standard (publie 2024), Aviation Sector Guidance, Buildings Sector Guidance, Forest Land and Agriculture (FLAG) Guidance, Power Sector Guidance, etc. Validation process : Application + Validation + Public Disclosure. SBTi Net-Zero standard requires deep decarbonization 90-95% emissions reduction + residual offset via certified carbon removals.

SBTi cree septembre 2015 a New York Climate Week par CDP, UNGC, WRI, WWF ; premier framework 2017 ; Corporate Net-Zero Standard publie octobre 2021 ; ~4500 entreprises validees 2024.

Exemple en contexte
