BIWG maintient les EDI standards WCPOLS (policy), WCCRIT (criticism response), DCI (Detailed Claim Information). Coordonne avec NCCI les évolutions WCSTAT, WCRATING, harmonisation des Class Codes entre bureaux indépendants et NCCI. Réunions trimestrielles, mise à jour spec annuelle.

Origine

Constitué dans les années 1980 sous l'égide de NCCI + Independent Bureaus, charte publique BIWG.

Usage

Tous les carriers WC US doivent supporter WCPOLS / DCI / WCCRIT pour reporting aux bureaux compétents.
