BIKE-ENCRYPTION
KEM code-based BIKE NIST Round 4.
Définition
BIKE parameter sets : Level 1, Level 3, Level 5 securite. Tailles : BIKE-L1 public key 1541 bytes, ciphertext 1573 bytes (similar Kyber768). Specificite : DFR (Decoding Failure Rate) non-zero acceptable (~2^-128), differs des KEMs avec perfect decoding. Performance : KeyGen plus lent que Kyber, Encap/Decap comparable. Position NIST Round 4 alongside Classic McEliece, HQC ; NIST decision standardisation backup KEM diversification expected 2024-2025.
Origine
BIKE submitted to NIST PQC Round 1 novembre 2017 ; advanced to Round 2, 3, 4 ; standardisation backup KEM decision attendue 2024-2025 par NIST.
Exemple en contexte
